I am a 53-year-old man with two grown daughters together with my wife Kirsi. I studied political science at teh University of Helsinki. I have worked as a journalist reporting on Finnish companies, economics and politics for international news agencies. In recent years, I have done communication about the green transition and sustainable financing. I moved from Norway to Finland in the summer of 1993 and married in Sipoo's old church. I still like it very much here. In my spare time you will find me on the Nickby pururata or in the archipelago with family and friends.
I am running in the local elections because I want to be part of developing Sipoo. The municipality needs a strong business community and well-functioning public transport to create an attractive place to live for families in the near capital. In my opinion, the goal is for future generations to also be able to experience forests and the archipelago and believe in a future of possibilities with hope.
